Casual Game: Valthirian Arc

This is a very very long game! However its production quality can rival any casual game found on DS, thats how i feel.

Its a quest based RPG. You have a school where you can choose to train your students. You gain levels by embarking on quests which are just simple slaying of monsters, which is very repetitive and the downside of this game. It seems that you can control what class your character promotes to, so its totally random. The tutorial doesnt covered everything, so you will have to trial and error.

In the end, even though there are downsides, the game is simply amazing.

Casual Game: Nobwar the Elves

This game resembles Patapon for whoever has played it, in its art style and some gameplay except the music and rhythm part.

You control a bunch of archers and move back and forth finding the correct time to launch your arrows at the incoming enemies. You can activate the support of infantry and calvary which will act as your tanks while you fire the arrows.

Pretty simple game, straightforward. Good for those who have a lot of time on their hands

Homerun in Berzerk Land

Its another one of those silly game when you shoot something into the air and try to gain as much distance and height so you can buy more cool gadgets and get the best scores.

However, its surprisingly addictive for me. Probably its the silly theme where a caveman is the batter and a geek is the victim. haha

Casual Game: Starlight

This is a relatively simple game but definitely an original concept. Your job is to rotate the sky or school of stars into the position where an object can be identified say an apple or a cat.

This is the first time i see a flash game using this kind of style to approach a puzzle game so i am impressed. The game play is rather easy because all the objects are seen in daily life so they are easily recognizable. Sadly, there is no difficulty progression in this game.

Casual Game: Ching Chong Beautiful

Ching Chong Beautiful is a simple yet addictive game. The objective is simple, run through a obstacle course, this game reminds me of Mirror Edge somehow. Well, it uses very random characters and storyline which definitely made the game unique.

The artwork and animation are done superbly well, definitely a style worth looking into. The game depends a lot on momentum to get through the course as quickly as possible. The level design is critical here, it is very difficult to define what level is more difficult to overcome in this sense. However, i dont think see a progressive difficulty type level here, its just random different obstacle all together.

Casual Game: Dragon Boy

I find that Dragon Boy is one of the most complete RPG flash game ever made. Well, i have not play it through but i am going to once i get back from NS.

I started a little while and was instantly mesmerized by the graphics and high production values that this game possessed.

So... till next time.

Casual Game: Madness Accelerant

Madness Accelerant is a game design by the awesome Tom Fulp himself, creator of Newgrounds. This is a game which definitely has high production values, the graphics and animation are fantastic.

The gameplay is unique and linear, where you control a Madness character and fight the clown through different stages of the world. You will drop the Hit Points of the Clown to a certain level and you will be send to another stage. So this goes on until the Hit points reach zero and you win. Simple
